I have not been great at the consistency with this blog writing business! I mean, I know you aren’t out there dying for me to post something new, but I think it’s been about a year since I’ve posted anything here which is crazy. But lately I’ve been thinking a lot about you who read this, the page as a whole and what it could become.
I want it to be honest. I want it to be personal. I want it to be consistent. I want it to be real. I want it to be me.
For it to be me, you probably need to know about me so you know that it is me… A confusing sentence, but what I thought I could do is a little “About Me” post!
So, I am Hannah. Hannah Louise King.
This is what I look like in black and white ↓

I recently just turned 26 and I live in Ulverstone, Tasmania, with my Dad & Mum. I’m one of eight children and of the eight I am the third youngest. Although I’m one of eight, my parents lost their first baby at birth so there are just seven of us that my parents have had to stress over! I always find that an odd family fact to share because I never want to make people feel awkward about it but I still want to honour the fact that Katherine (my eldest sister) is still a part of our family. I also have one brother-in-law & three sister-in-laws (almost four) and between the lot of them they’ve made me the Auntie of three nieces and three nephews, with another one to arrive very soon. Being an Auntie is a pretty cool gig!
I have a boyfriend (oh, la la) and his name is Dylan. We’ve been dating for just over four and a half years which is awesome. He’s all kinds of wonderful and my life is exponentially better with him in it. My relationship with Dyl is something that I never, ever will take for granted. We haven’t had the typical dating experience (which maybe I’ll share another time), but in one way I wouldn’t change it for the world because through it I think we’ve built the best foundation for the rest of our lives to be built upon.
As far as work, I am the Practice Manager for a physiotherapy practice which I’ve done since 2014, and from 2009 until then I worked as the main receptionist for the clinic. When I first started we have four clinics and we’ve now expanded to six. It can get pretty hectic haha. How I got my job and what that’s done for my life will be a story for another time too. When I first started though, I was in year 12 and I did a business traineeship. Then last July I decided to do some more study and am now working towards a Business degree majoring in Marketing. I never want my life to plateau because the easy option is to keep things as they are, so deciding to go to uni was something I probably didn’t ever think I’d do but am glad I have. It’s all online study too which means I can still work and have a life!
One of the biggest parts of my life is the church family that I am apart of and the journey I’m on with Jesus discovering who He is and what He has for my life. Towards the end of 2010, I started attending a local church in Devonport and seven years later I’m still there! I get to serve the young people of my city as part of our youth team which is a whole heap of fun. I’m the size of a grade 7 student so often get confused for a high-schooler haha. I also get to help lead an area of our Creative team along with being apart of our vocal team. I love singing, always have, and love that it’s a way in which I can express how good and beautiful God is. It’s a really good deal!
These few things are the key area’s of my life – the things that obtain the majority of my attention. It’s definitely just the surface, but one day we’ll go into more depth on each of them (plus a whole lot more!)

Hi Hannah, hey what an encouragement it is hear stories like yours. We can observe your growth and love for Jesus. You shine that light from the stage when you sing and worship lead. Don’t ever stop learning and moving forward. I am still learning and growing and always will, love that God teaches us new things all the time as long as we keep open to His Spirit. Thank you Hannah Bless you heaps xx
